Le Saint Motel has officially been voted #3 Best Instagram Spot in Montréal in the 2026 Cult MTL Best of Montréal Awards.
Being recognized alongside iconic Montréal destinations like the Old Port and Mount Royal is something we never imagined when we first started building weird little rooms, collecting vintage props, and convincing people that a themed self-serve photo studio was a good idea.
A Big Year for Our Little Studio
This year’s results were especially exciting because our community showed up in a big way:

- Our neighbours at Inchoo Bijoux were voted #1 Best Jewellery Store

- Tristan Ginger was voted voted #3 Best Burlesque and #2 Drag Performer

This Recognition Belongs to the Community
Le Saint Motel has never been just about taking photos.
From the beginning, our goal was to create a space where people could play, experiment, create, celebrate, and make memories. Every room has been built with the help of local artists, painters, photographers, builders, prop makers, and creative weirdos who believed in the idea before it made any sense.
Many of our sets are built from reclaimed materials, vintage finds, theatre props, movie-set leftovers, and treasures sourced from local estate sales. The studio is constantly evolving because the people who visit it inspire us to keep creating.
Every vote, every share, every photo posted online, and every recommendation to a friend helped make this possible. Thank you.
